Good Grows
Common Space is a collaborative office space for nonprofits, mission-driven entrepreneurs, and businesses in Birmingham, Alabama.
We designed Common Space to be a space where organizations doing good in our city can work side by side and hand in hand, helping their impact grow exponentially.
Started by Common Thread Community in June of 2024, Common Space is part of The Cultural Center, a six acre, two building development that promotes the growth of economic and social capital in our city. The Cultural Center is currently home to the following organizations:
Phase II of the Cultural Center development will open in Spring 2025 and will include an event space, coworking space, gallery, and artist studios.
Our Space
We offer professional offices for nonprofits and mission-driven entrepreneurs in a collaborative environment that promotes growth and connection. Our space offers the following amenities:
Sixteen private office suites - secured with pin code access
Shared reception lobby
Large conference room - with 5 hours of conference room each month
Shared kitchen and lounge area
Parking included
Fast Wifi
Secured bluetooth access control at entrances and exits
Mailing address and mail services
On-site gym (A4One): workout equipment, weights, NBA regulation basketball court, indoor turf, batting cages, and showers.
Private Offices
Offices from $400- $1,000 per month.
Conference Room
5 hours of conference time each month for Common Space Members
Public booking price: $25/hour or $200/day
On-Site Gym
$30 per month for Common Space Members.
This membership to A4One Gym and Training Facility includes: access to all equipment, programming, and pick-up basketball.
